Step 11: Switch to HTML View

We will now be inserting the JavaScript code into the body section right where we typed the phrase in the previous step. To do this, switch back to HTML view:

Step 12: Find the Phrase You Typed

We must now find where the phrase we entered (your text here) appears in the HTML code. You may either scroll through the document and look for the text, or as is often useful for longer documents, click the Edit Menu and select "Find". Then just type the phrase: your text here and search. You should instantly be taken to the phrase within the HTML source code. Make sure you have the phrase highlighted within your HTML source code as we do in this screenshot before continuing to the next step.

Step 13: Paste the BODY Code

Go to the Edit Menu with FrontPage 2000 and select the "Paste" option to paste the BODY code that we copied to the clipboard earlier. Since the phrase we typed was highlighted, it will be replace when we paste the code in:

Step 14: Preview The Page

That's all there is too it, really! You've added the appropriate code sections to your page, so let's test it. Click the Preview View icon to display the page live (in Internet Explorer). You will want to test out the script to make sure it works.

If everything goes well, save your document and upload it to your web site. Great! If something seems wrong, double-check that you followed all the steps correctly.

If you still run into trouble, we'd be happy to assist you further. Just post a "Help Request" to the JavaScript Forum and someone will be happy to try to help you out.

Step 15: Tell Your Friends About The JavaScript Source

If you found our scripts or this tutorial useful, please tell your friends, coworkers, or web site visitors about our site! We have more detailed linking information also, including linking graphics and site descriptions. Thanks!

How did this tutorial work for you? What could we do to make it better? What other tutorials would you like to see here? More like FrontPage 2000, just various other programs?

Your tutorial feedback is very much appreciated.
